Project Manager

Position: Full Time

Nation1 is looking for a tough Project Manager to join their existing team in the Glasgow office.

With a proven track record of managing digital projects (everything from e-com, to online advertising campaigns and iPhone apps), you’ll be responsible for scoping and preparing project proposals and then co-ordinating the team to enable them to deliver these projects. Traffic management experience essential – as you’ll be the one that has to manage the Nation1 team to ensure they get stuff out on time and within budget, as well as managing the client to make sure the team are provided with what they need to achieve this. You’ll need to be made of tough stuff and willing to kick some ass. Excellent organisational skills and time management are required as well as experience of managing job costing summaries/project budgets and project timelines. Confidence, professional appearance and a good sense of humour will go a long way.

Middleweight Designer

Position: Full Time

Salary: NEG

Nation1 are looking for an amazing middleweight designer to join their design team in the Glasgow office.

This is the ideal job for a great designer looking to take the next step up in their career, working on exciting and creative projects for entrepreneurial clients.

You should have strong leadership and communication skills and extensive expertise in the digital space. You must come from a graphic and visual design background, with at least 3 years commercial agency experience and a strong diverse portfolio from e-commerce to online advertising, further more you should have a strong understanding of the relevant technologies required to create your ideas. You will have the ability to manage clients, projects and teams, as well as excelling in presenting and working directly with clients, building on existing and developing new relationships.

The following skills/Qualities are essential:

  • Master skills of photoshop/illustrator, good knowledge of flash is a bonus.
  • Creative lead and manage the creative team and designs.
  • Delivering design work of exceptional quality on-time.
  • Close working relationship with the development team.
  • Management of projects with account managers.
  • Strong commercial awareness and hunger for new business, with the determination not just to lead pitches but to win them.

Nation1 are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated iPhone/mobile app developer to join their busy programming team within our Glasgow office. You should have a passion for mobile application development and technology in general.

  • XML
  • Version Control (CVS, SVN, Git)
  • Apple Developer Portal

A willingness to learn and improve upon existing skills is a must, and an understanding of design patterns such as MVC would be beneficial.
