STUDENT WORK

Below you can see some of the work of the Fine Art Photography class of 2005.

An important aspect of the degree in Fine Art Photography at The Glasgow School of Art is in instilling key skills in professional practice to help to enable them to function as artists once they graduate. In their third year students are required to organise all aspects of mounting an exhibition outwith GSA, from the initial finding and negotiation of an exhibition space, to curating and installing the show.

They also have to consider marketing, publicity, sponsorship, and the design and printing of a catalogue: with assistance and collaboration with Nation1, the students gain real, hands on experience of these vital skills.
